TA DA!!!! I started Grace's baby quilt a few weeks before she was born (hence the bright, but neutral colors). I was inspired by Anita's beautiful quilt
HERE, but since I don't like to do sashing, I decided to use
this Moda Bakeshop pattern, except I cut my own squares instead of using a charm pack.

They are both sooooo cute!!!

See that red pinwheel? Those are what I was cutting when I cut my fingertip with the rotary cutter. :(

I hand quilted this, of course. Just oulined the white triangles in the pinwheels and around the border.

When I saw that the 3D triangles were called prairie points I had to try them. Anything with the word "prairie" just sounds adorable and makes me think of Laura Ingalls!

But frankly, they were a pain. I couldn't get the spacing right and the more I tried to fix them, the worse it got. AND I couldn't hand quilt along this edge (which I thought it needed to keep them in place) so I had to stab stitch one stitch at a time the whole way around.

But it is still an awesome pattern and I love it!!!

Link Parties are found at the top of my blog and, if I get a minute here and there, I might be found linking up at some of those.

OH, I just LOVE it!!!
What a stunning quilt! I love everything about it--especially the 3d triangles! Ok, really I especially love the little cutie laying on it, but I'm partial to babies! ;)
BEAUTIFUL! Love the colors!
A pinwheel quilt is my next quilting project. Yours is adorable! Ouch...cutting you finger with a rotary cutter sounds awful!
It's beautiful Lindsay! I love it so much!!! Great job!
Those are just beautiful pictures, and the quilt is nice too...
It's beautiful....and so is Grace! You quilted yours nearly exactly as I did mine, I machine stitched the little white triangles individually but stippled the outer sashing. It's just lovely!
I love this quilt! I have had it bookmarked in my favorites to do one day! I love the way yours came out! And your little Grace is simply adorable! Good job on both :)
I always admire quilts and oneday I want to make one. For now, i am loving yours!!!

Beautiful! I have my pinwheels and prairie points cut for mine. I saw the moda recipe on pinterest a week or so ago and had to make it. I love how you quilted it, I may steal this for mine.
Beautiful work!
This quilt is just beautiful! I love it! Thank you for linking it up. I just saw a tutorial on Sewing with Nancy (the tv show) that showed an easy way to do some of this stuff I can't wait to try it out! Hope you are having a great day!
Darling baby - and a beautiful quilt. I'm a quilter too, but I'm just learning to machine sew! Great looking blog you've got here. :)
This is an incredibly sweet quilt! I wish I had the patience to quilt, this is so beautiful!
WOW--i love this quilt. Thank you for linking up last week at Sew Woodsy! Please come back tomorrow and link up your most recent project!
The quilt came out spectacular. I can barely sew a button.
