Finishing Along

This Quilter in the Gap Finish-A-Long really has me on a roll! I am even finishing things that aren't part of the challenge, just other things off of my pile of uncompleted projects.  I finished this new bag for my sister- she chose the fabric, oh, um, about 6 months ago.

I used the Tohoku Tote pattern (found HERE) and I did mess it up a little bit so that it is shorter, but overall it went OK.  And I LOVE the bow!

I also finished up the Refashion dresses in my UFO list on the sidebar.  The pics I took stink, but they were adult-sized, formal party dresses (super short ones!) that were unworn and free, so I took them in to add them to the girls dress-up box as a dress and skirt. So, that means that I have met my 12in2012 goal of finishing half of my UFO list!  I did all the easy ones on the list and I have realized that I missed quite a few projects when I made that list, but HOORAY anyway!

Speaking of UFOs, here are my 3rd quarter goals for the Quilter In The Gap Finish-A-Long.
What do I have in that picture?  A jungle quilt, heart table runner and extra block, purple and cream quilt, clutch to match the maxi dress I made for my daughter, ninja turtle quilt, and braided rag rug. That is a hefty goal for me, considering that it is nearing canning season and it is also time to cut out ornaments for my etsy shop.  So, I will do my best!

Do you have any projects hanging around waiting to be finished?

Your Tohoku Tote looks great, Lindsay! When I made one it ended up shorter than intended. I'm sure your sister will love it!!!

Great job on the Tote...you should go into business. LOL! =) You really have a lot to work on...I have a pile too, but I've realized, it's not going to happen. Such is life, I guess. I'll live vicariously through your pile. =) Gooooo Lindsay!

I really love the bow on that bag also! Great job getting so much finished. I think I have 1 unfinished project but it might wait for a while. Usually if it sits around long enough I just throw it away. Don't tell anyone. :)
